A short tune sounds (if activated). The
appliance proposes Cottons as default
programme.
The led of Start/Pause button flashes.
13.4 Stand-by function
The Stand-by function automatically
deactivates the appliance to decrease
the energy consumption when:
You do not use the appliance for 5
minutes before pressing the Start/
Pause button and turning the
appliance on.
Press the On/Off button to activate
the appliance again.
After 5 minutes from the end of the
washing programme.
Press the On/Off button to activate
the appliance again.
The display shows the end of the last
set programme.
Turn the programme dial to set a new
cycle.
If you set a programme or an
option that ends with water
in the drum, the Stand-by
function doesn't deactivate
the appliance to remind you
to drain the water.
If Remote Start Mode is
activated, the Stand-by
function doesn't deactivate
the appliance.
13.5 Setting a programme
1. Turn the programme dial to set the
desired programme.

Or just tap on the programme name in
the programme summary window to
return to the programme list window and
scroll the programme list up or down to
set the desired programme.
2. After a few seconds the display
shows programme summary screen
indicating the maximum load, the
default temperature, the maximum
spin speed and the programme
duration.
3. You can tap on the Temperature bar
to change the water temperature.
4. You can tap on the Spin Speed bar
to change the spin speed or to set
Rinse & Hold or Extra Silent option.
5. You can tap on More to enter the
menu of the additional available
options and set one or more of them.
Afterwards, the shortcuts of the set
options show up on the programme
summary screen.
13.6 Loading the laundry
1. Open the appliance door.
The weight sensor window pops up.

2. Shake the garments before you put
them in the drum.
3. Put the laundry in the drum, one item
at time.
On the display the weight of the laundry
is updated by steps of kg 0.5 and the
programme duration is updated
accordingly when you return to the
programme summary screen.
