Connecting other Playback Devices
Connecting to a PC (Fig. 2/26)
Antenna connections
1. In order to show the image from another playback device (e.g. digital
camera) on the LCD screen, please connect the cinch cable to the
corresponding sockets on the device (Fig. 2/25) and the other end to
the playback device.
2. Turn the AV IN/OUT switch (Fig. 2/24) to „IN“.
3. Then select the AV IN mode by pressing the TV/VGA/AV IN button
(Fig. 1/5 / 3/31).
NOTE:
If you would like to display the picture from the internal DVD player on
the LCD screen you should turn the AV IN/OUT switch to „OUT“.
1. In order to use the LCD screen as a monitor your PC, please connect
the VGA cable (not supplied) to the VGA socket of the device.
2. Then connect the other end of the cable to the graphic card of your
PC.
3. Turn the AV IN/OUT switch (Fig. 2/24) to „IN“.
4. Then select the VGA mode by pressing the TV/VGA/AV IN button
(Fig. 1/5 / 3/31).
NOTE:
If you would like to display the picture from the internal DVD player on
the LCD screen you should turn the AV IN/OUT switch to „OUT“.
Antenna Input (Fig. 2/23)
NOTE:
Please ensure that it is possible to receive DVB-T signals in your area.
Information on the transmission area is available on the Internet un-
der: http://www.ueberallfernsehen.de, or from your specialist dealer.
This device has a built-in DVB-T receiver.
In order to be able to receive digital terrestrial channels with the built-in
DVB receiver it is necessary to connect your permanently installed house
aerial.
If you are located in the central section of the transmission area you can
also use an optional passive or active DVB-T aerial.
Connect the cable from your DVB-T aerial system or your DVB-T room
aerial to the ANT. socket on the left-hand side of the device.
This device also has a built-in analogue receiver.
In order to be able to receive cable television channels with the built-in
analogue receiver it is necessary to connect your permanently installed
cable system.
For this you should connect the cable of your cable connection to the
ANT. socket on the left-hand side of the device.
