Fast Forward and Rewind
The DVD player allows you to fast forward and rewind through the disc.
Press the and/or button for fast forward or rewind function. Playback direction and speed are displayed, e.g. “2x”.
1. Repeatedly press the and/or button to change the speed. Speed settings are 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x or 32x.
2. Press the EPG / button to return to normal playback speed.
Change Angle
Some DVDs allow you to change the camera angle.
Press the ANGLE button to change the camera angle.
NOTE:
1/1
” is displayed if changing the camera angle is invalid.
Repeatedly press the button to toggle between the camera angles or to return to the original angle.
16.2 File Mode
Besides playing “normal” movies or music from CDs/DVDs this DVD player provides video and audio le playback from
CDs or DVDs saved in les systems. Such media you have for instance on CDs with digital photos or MP3 music created
on your computer.
Select File/Folder and Start Playback
Media may contain several data/les and folders. First you have to determine, which les are to be accessed.
1. Insert CD or DVD into the drive.
2. A menu displays the folders (if available) and files.
3. Select the desired folder or file with the arrow buttons.
4. Press the OK button to access.
File: If a le was selected it will be played or displayed directly.
Folder: If a folder was selected its le list opens.
Select the desired le with the arrow buttons and OK. The le is now played or displayed.
Please Note:
A variety of burner and compression processes and great dierences in quality exist for burnt CDs/DVDs.
For these reasons in some case problems during le playback may occur (les are for instance displayed but cannot be
played). This is no malfunction for this device.
NOTE:
To return from le to folder mode select the “
” icon (one level up) and press OK.
In the upper right-hand list the following options are available:
Filter: Allows the selection of the file types shown in the left-hand list. Select between the file types “Audio”, “Photo”
and “Video”. Only the selected file types are displayed. To leave the filter menu press the arrow button
.
• Repeat:By repeatedly pressing the OK button you can select between the options “single” (the current track is played
back repeatedly), “folder” (the current folder is played back repeatedly) and “off”.
Mode: By repeatedly pressing the OK button you can change the type of playback.
Normal = Random playback is deactivated.
Shue = The tracks on the CD are played back in random order.
Edit mode: In edit mode you can programme the tracks you would like to hear (see “Creating a Play List”)
