Component (Video Output)
Select the video output option for the playback device that is connected
and which you wish to use. Choosing the right signal format depends on
the type of connection and the playback device (see also the operating
manual of the replay unit).
S-Video: Select this option if your playback device is connected to the
DVD player via the composite video and/or S-video connection.
YUV: Select this option if your playback device is connected to the
DVD player via the component video connection.
Scart (RGB): Select this option if your playback device is connected to
the DVD player via the SCART connection.
NOTE:
If you would like to select the “Scart (RGB)“ setting, please ensure
that your playback device supports this setting.
By pressing the TV-MODE button (Fig. 3/26) you can also switch
between the video output options.
Resolution
Select the HDMI resolution for the connected playback device that is
to be used. Choosing the right signal format depends on the type of
connection and the playback device (see also the operating manual of the
replay unit).
Quality
In this menu it is possible to perform various settings to adapt the video
signal.

Here you can switch the HDMI output on and o .
Audio Source
Here you can select the audio output for the HDMI connection.
NOTE:
The “Audio Source“ menu is only available if the “On” option is activated
in the “HDMI” menu.
TV Type
Match the output of the DVD-Player to the colour transfer system of your
playback device.
The following options are available:
PAL: A system commonly used in Europe.
Auto: Select this setting if your playback device is a multi-system
unit.
NTSC: A system primarily used in North America.
